Web Check-in: Now, when you use Web Check-in online at aircanada.com, you can choose to receive an electronic boarding pass on your cell phone or PDA (personal digital assistant such as Blackberry or Treo) on select flights.

You can use web check-in to:

• Select a seat.
• Check your baggage.
• Standby for an earlier flight.
• Standby for upgrades (if eligible).
• Make a same-day change to your ticket (if eligible).
• Review and change a frequent flyer number (e.g., Aeroplan, United Mileage Plus) already on your reservation file, or add one.
• Cancel check-in (must be completed within the same time frame that Web/Mobile Check-in is available).
• Cancel check-in cannot be completed if baggage tags have already been issued.
• Receive an electronic boarding pass on your cell phone or PDA (personal digital assistant such as Blackberry or Treo) on select flights.

Mobile Check in:
Now there is a new way to receive your boarding pass information when using your PDA (personal digital assistant, such as Blackberry or Treo) or cell phone.

Our new boarding pass feature is an enhancement to our existing Mobile Check-in service. If your mobile device supports 2D barcode technology as most do, you will now receive two SMS text messages to confirm your check-in: one SMS text containing the details regarding your flight, and another SMS containing a link to a barcode image. For each flight checked in via your mobile device, you will receive these two SMS text messages. If your itinerary does not qualify, you can still use Mobile Check-in service and print out your boarding pass at a kiosk or with an agent. When using your mobile device, the access to log on remains the same mobile.aircanada.com.

Airport Check in
You can use Air Canada's award-winning Self-service Check-in kiosks to check-in for your flight. The Self-service Check-in kiosk is for you:

• Whether your ticket was purchased with your credit card, a company card or by someone else
• If you have a paper ticket or an electronic ticket
• If you have luggage or just carry-on baggage

If you are with or without an identification card:
• Without a card: Simply enter your booking reference, Aeroplan or Star Alliance frequent flyer number
• With a card: Aeroplan card, Star Alliance™ frequent flyer card, or major credit card
