Germanwings
From now on germanwings is offering lots of new connecting flights within Europe. We have been able to further extend our route network thanks to the one-stop principle, as follows: You start your journey from your local airport, change planes in Cologne, Stuttgart or Berlin onto a second germanwings Airbus and then fly on to your destination. Changing planes is easy, quick and secure – typically germanwings.

Now you can check in easily and quickly online! As early as one day before departure you can check in from home or the office and print out your boarding card. You can only use Web Check-In for flights from Cologne/Bonn (CGN), Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF), Hamburg (HAM), Stuttgart (STR), Munich (MUC), Dresden (DRS), Leipzig (LEJ), Dortmund (DTM), Zweibrücken (ZQW), Zurich (ZRH) and Rostock-Laage (RLG). Web Check-In can only be used by passengers travelling with hand luggage. If you have baggage to be checked in or special baggage, please use our normal check-in. If you depart from Cologne/Bonn airport you can use the Web Check-In for that flight and check-in your baggage at the Baggage Drop-Off counter. You can use Web Check-In from 24 hours before departure at the earliest until 3 hours before departure at the latest.

The carriage of your Baggage is included in the Flight Fare, as long as it meets our conditions for the Baggage allowance. Acceptable as Free Baggage are
- the carriage of your baggage is included in the flight fare as long as it meets our conditions for the baggage allowance
- luggage up to a maximum of 8 kg with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm, which has not been checked in and which you take on board with you as hand baggage after having presented it to us as such at the check-in desk, provided it does not conflict with any legal or official regulations or directives, such as those issued by the UK Department of Transport or VO (EC) 1546/2006.
- Animals are not considered as free baggage even if they otherwise fulfil the specifications
