General Information
The two holly cities of the Islamic world, Mecca and Medina, are placed at Saudi Arabia. Kaabe which is, for Muslims, the holliest point on the earth is found at Mecca where Muhammed Prophet was born. Hadj, one of the five conditions of Islam Religion, is fulfilled in Mecca.
Desserts, magnificent oasises, majestic mountain peaks, beaches, rivers and petroleum-rich metropoles are among the major components of the national tourism.
Madain Saleh placed near Ula is one of the most significant points that you should travel. This historical cemetery being home to 131 graves is impressive by its extraordinary sand fields and rock formations.
With its buildings in the Ottoman architectural style, markets, malls, skyscrapers and beaches, Jeddah is the most entertaining city of Saudi Arabia. Its Red Sea coastline is fantastic for both tourists and families. On the other hand, Habalah Village standing as one of the best reflections of the old Arabia is one of the best residential areas by its houses and cable car.
The Camel Races organized in April and May are the world-famous national activities. These races of thousands of camels and ten thousands of audiences are the part of Culture and Convention Festival actualized at Jenadriyah.
