More than 100 spas and a great deal of medicinal baths are found in the capital. Szechenyi Medicinal Bath taking its water from two spas is the biggest one of its kind in Europe.

Balaton Lake is the biggest lake in Europe. Tisza Lake is the biggest artificial lake in the country. About 1,300 spas are found in Hungary. 300 of them are used as bath.
