Services of Turkish Airlines

Online check-in is a service that gives a possibility to check-in online to all passengers who have a ticketed reservation before arriving to the airport.

The service provides check-in facility to the passengers from 24 hours up to 90 minutes prior to the departure time of their flights, through the web.

Also the passengers,

• can select their seats by displaying the seat map,
• can check-in online for the travel companies who are on the same reservation record (maximum 8 passengers at once), through check-in to the final destination or return check-in if they have return flights from the destinations on the same day.

Passengers with Electronic tickets who have completed their check-in procedures via our web site for Online Boarding Pass eligible stations are able to print their boarding passes.

Free baggage allowance for Turkish Airlines passengers varies according to the destination and the class of the ticket. The allowance is stated on the ticket.

Cats and dogs that have valid health and vaccination certificate/entry permission for the country of destination can be carried in the cabin in a private cage. Pets not mentioned above and dogs like American pitbull terrier, american staffordshire terrier, bull terrier, staffordshire bull terrier, japanese tosa, dogo argentino, doberman, rottweiller will not be transported as a pet with passenger

• If the pet will be carried in cabin, the total weight of the pet and the carrier shall not exceed 6 kg.
• The pet shall be healthy, harmless, clean and odorless. If any suspicious condition is observed (uneasiness, aggressiveness, disease etc), the pet may not be accepted on the flight.
• Health certificate, vaccination certificate and identification card of pet shall be present during check-in process and shall be provided to check-in staff when asked.
